Currently, there is considerable interest in solving the problems associated with converging currents. These currents have received great practical importance in various fields of science and technology. Primarily these include extrusion problems in processing of polymeric and composite materials. Mention should also be widespread problems converging currents for testing numerical schemes and rheological constitutive relations. This paper presents an analytical overview of publications devoted to the study of convergent flow of non-Newtonian fluids in channels with a stepped configuration.
